Update Thru Game 5

Papi batting .733 in WS...rest of team is .144
Boston is now 1 game away from the title...an Big Papi has all but wrapped up the MVP...
Shapiro is hoping that they can finish it off tomorrow, that way Holliday and Beltran don't get an extra game to catch up...I have a feeling Big Papi might have a game 6 that looks like this - 0/1, 3 BBs

DAVID ORTIZ (Shapiro) 36
MATT HOLLIDAY (Guelde) 31
CARLOS BELTRAN (Curlis) 30
JACOBY ELLSBURY (Hodges) 26

Update After World Series Game 1

Robbed Papi of 5 pts with this catch...
Last night was an awful night for the Cards, as they fell 8-1...

Papi with the big night, with 3 RBI...could have been 6 RBI if it wasn't for the HR robbing catch by Beltran..

Speaking of Beltran..he was hurt on that great catch and is a game time decision for game 2...He still holds the overall lead, but barely...

Here is the leaderboard after Game 1...it looks like it may be a 4 player race, especially if this series only goes 3 more games...however if it goes 6 or 7 games, it will buy time for guys further back to catch up..

7 Days to go...can the guys on top hang on for 1 more week...

STUDS OF THE WEEK - Stout, Parker

They went with Goldy this week and who finished with 22 pts, just inching past the 6 Holliday owners who had 21...They say MVP awards are usually won in September, and in the clutch..J Stout came through in a big way last week, and now has a legit shot to finish in the top 3 in all 3 categories, and with a crazy good week 26, could pull off the triple crown win...what a career year for Stout...Parker who has not had the greatest year earns a nice parting gift of $50 for the co-SOTW effort..Congrats fellas...Stout is now 3rd on the Money List..Parker is now 18th...

Coming into week 25 Feikle was in the top 4 for BA at .311..well after a Hunter Pence 1-for-21..his BA Money dreams have all but vanished..he now sits at .302...Gordon has 31 HRs and getting nothing last week hurt his chances at a top 4 HR finish..He will likely need 5 this week to have a chance...
