Week 16 Results

STUD OF THE WEEK - D Riether

He beat out E Krauss and C Jones via the tiebreaker...His pick of  David Wright finished the week with 11 pts and a .417 avg, while E Krauss and C Jones pick (Kipnis) had 11 pts but a .364 avg.  This is the 2nd SOTW for Riether and he is now in 2nd place in the $$ list with $125...Congrats DR!

DUDs OF THE WEEK - T KRAUSS - T GUELDE - CURLIS CREW - LEFKOVITZ

Rough start to the 2nd half for these guys as Pedro Alvarez took a donut for the weekend...0 for 13...

10 weeks to go - The marathon is starting to turn into a sprint here...

The BA race is changing every week it seems..just 3 weeks ago, Brooks had a commanding lead, as he was up 23 pts over the 2nd place - Williamson...since the break Brooks has gone 7-49 (.142) and is now in 2nd place at .315

K Krauss and Kramer are neck and neck in HRs with 30 each....and only Stout and M Badenhop are within 5 of them...

K Krauss also has the RBI lead with 88, but there are 6 others within 10RBI of him

Just like in the MLB, the goal in RTTC is to be within striking distance once September hits, then at that point, anything can happen...

The halfway point of the season is upon us and 40 out of 51 of us have cashed in at least once so far this season...

STUDS OF THE WEEK - DAVIA, B LEONARD

Both rookies went with Jason Kipnis this week..he finished the week with 24 points and even more impressively, he didn't even play on Sunday, but he played both games of a doubleheader on Friday.  This is the 2nd SOTW for Davia who has to be loving life right now as his Pirates own the best record in baseball at the midway point of the season.  Brad Leonard gets his first taste of the SOTW winner circle.  Davia is now 6th, and Leonard is 7th on the money list...Congrats fellas

DUD OF THE WEEK - SLIFFE

The week could not have gone any worse than it did for Sliffe...His pick Ryan Howard went 0/18 on the week..he BA dropped 15 pts and he now is in the cellar at .227...but he is in good shape with HRs at 19, so expect to see his picks from here on out to focus on the long ball..
